“Your DVD arrived today and I LOVE it!!!  What a fantastic job, it's easy to follow, easy to access subject matter, great quality camera work and a wonderful choice of music.  You should be so proud of your work, it's really exceptional and thank you very much.”

“I just ordered your instructional DVD for the Hammered Dulcimer. I am a beginning student of the instrument at 48 years old, and I wanted to tell you how impressed I am with your teaching after my first watch through.

I have a cheap little 12/11 to learn on, and it has made my venture thus far, very frustrating. But, I feel so inspired now by your DVD, I am more determined now to not let that thing defeat my efforts. Ha!

Thank you, as I do believe there are hours worth of lessons on it that I will watch over and over, and highly cherish.
Thanks again, and many blessings to you for your gift and life’s work.”

Irish Book

Playing the Hammered Dulcimer in the Irish Tradition

Book/CD set on Oak Publications. The book originally had a tape to go with it. I have rerecorded it and added a few new tracks for the CD.

“.. I just did not sound (even with the wood side) like the other dulcimer players I have heard. So I ordered your book to see what would happen. Let me tell you how pleased I am. I am starting to do some rolls which makes all the difference. I started with “Cliffs of Moher” as the first piece I ever did with some rolls. Well, I was so excited when I did the first roll I went and woke my husband all bubbly with joy.”

40 O'Carolan Tunes

40 O'Carolan Tunes

Sylvia Woods. Finally a collection of O'Carolan tunes with chord charts! This book is written for harp with 2 versions of every tune (simple and harder) but is useful for all instruments because of the chords. Especially handy for guitar & piano players. A couple of the tunes are in C that are now commonly played in D, but for the most part this is a great Top 40. A CD of all the tunes is available.
