The children's session has met the FIRST TUESDAY of the month from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. at McGinty's Public House in the heart of downtown Silver Spring at 911 Ellsworth Dr, (301) 587-1270. It is in the block between Georgia Ave and Fenton - across from Borders Books. The session meets in the second floor room of the pub. There are 2 close parking garages at Wayne Ave (between Fenton and Georgia) and one on Fenton (between Ellsworth and Roeder). Both are inexpensive and are free after 8:30 pm. The menu is excellent at McGinty's with selections all members of the family will enjoy. Musicians get free soda! It is also just a few blocks from the Silver Spring metro. Check McGinty's website.

The October 7, 2008 session will be our last monthly session for now. I will still run a few a year during school holidays. If you would like to be informed of these write me at mail(the symbol @)karenashbrook.com.
